About this deal

I loved Olivia, she is selfless and resilient wanting to help Camden to get a better life, even if doing that could break her own heart. Camden is a survivor and he only knows how to live in the present, going on one day at time trying to create his next perfect piece of art. If he needs an emotional punching bag, I'll be the best goddamned punching bag on the planet! It's going to hurt like hell to keep feeling rejected when I want him to love me like he used to, but not having him hurts a whole lot worse. OR why not have a go at making your OWN JOURNAL? I have two fabulous posts that shows you two different ways of How to Make a Journal: And maybe it takes the only person who’s ever understood the wounded artist to show him he’s as radiant as his art.

You’re all that matters to me, Isla. I’m already falling, so if you fall too, I’ll catch you. No matter what."of this book is a narrative of the main character's mind - there is so little dialogue and what dialogue there is, you're not always sure if it is actually dialogue or who said it. And if that weren't bad enough, the narration goes into such minute, irrelevant details which constantly are repeated throughout the book. Don't get me wrong, narrative is good and necessary, but there's a huge difference between narrative that really ties the story together, and narrative that just makes the book to damn long. Josephine Geroux, Jo went through so much in this story. Seven words to describe Jo: Independent, lonely, strong, broken, determined, frank and endearing. Although we did find the end moved a little on the slow side, there was no doubting this was a moving, honest and extremely beautiful story of a man’s struggle to love and a woman who never gave up on him. The heat and connection between Isla and Caleb was so powerful and intense, absolutely combustible and all-consuming. I loved Isla's fierce independent spirit as she tried to defy expectations. And my heart truly broke for Caleb. Could he rise above his circumstances or would he be caught in the destructive cycle of the Hart men? I loved how Caleb protected Isla and empowered her independence and how they found comfort and calmness in each other's arms. Yes, there were plenty of deliciously steamy sex scenes but the emotions behind everything went so much deeper than that.

He’s just doing his job making sure her car gets towed. It’s the right thing to do, escorting an injured woman to the town doc. I meant what I said." I whispered. "I love you. I won't quit. I'll help you out of this. If I have to wait, then that's what I'll do." Both Caleb and Isla come from different walks of life, but they connected almost immediately. They kind of seemed like they'd been together for a while, but at the same time were still figuring each other and what they were to each other out. There were interesting story lines, twists, secrets, questions, and little subplots going on in this book. And it leads right into the 3rd installment Accept Me. I was totally not ready for this one to end. And now I wait for more...I always seem to be bugging Jaimi to give me more! Zombie Damon begins to speak once he is home but he has a become mean bastard. He ask that Jo give all of herself to him. She'll do anything for the man she loves and to prove it to him. When you were mine, you made everything better. You made my life better. You made me better. You have been my medicine. You made the hurt disappear. My past is one that I can never escape, I know this now. Aly's incredible talent as a writer amazes me more and more with each new book but she has truly outdone herself this time around. This book is so powerful, it is written with incredible depth and raw emotion, Aly has so obviously put her heart and soul into this masterpiece. I am totally in awe of the way in which she was able to convey how Camden was still haunted by the pain and horror of his past but refrained from going into detail, leaving readers to draw their own conclusions. Camden has endured so much cruelty at the hands of others that by the time he meets Olivia he is unable to feel. Trusting anyone is not an issue because he knows that everyone takes what they want from him and then eventually leave him with nothing.

This book will put you through emotions that you would never think that a book could put you through. There is so much discovered about Jo and Damon in this book and many deep secrets come out and begin in this book. Because maybe it takes the one not wired for this world to appreciate the one who’s been ignored by it. That’s what you do, Cam. See what others ignore. Love what others neglect. Cherish what others throw away.”I'm disappointed because it's A LOT shorter than the first book. I actually feel cheated out of the rest of the story, but shit… even short… what a hell of an emotional roller coaster.

When I hear it in the males POV I'm not as bad. But if there is no grovelling or even retribution, then I can't let it go. At some points I felt like I needed more.. more of what is hard to say but maybe I just needed more information more context. More love. More worry about the now. He’s just being a decent guy by offering her a temporary place to stay. His mama raised him right, after all. This was an intense story, often sad, yet hope lingered and eventually turned into one of finding true happiness. Ms. Stiles took a man that people only saw at face value, never taking the time to search deeper, finding the real beauty that lay in his mind and heart. The underlying tragedy in his life, that Camden struggled with, further complicated his already difficult issues when people formed their own opinions of him based on something that happened to him versus the man that he really was. Olivia saw the real Camden from the moment she met him and their journey as a couple was one of building trust and recognizing their truths. It was heartbreaking to watch this pair each grapple with feeling deserving of each other's love and love in general. To see two kind and gentle souls find their place in the universe was really powerful and this author tapped right into the energy of their metamorphosis.Surprisingly Olivia was proving him wrong every minute, reading him like no one else ever did. Being that shining and vibrant color in his darkness. When I began with Restore Me I almost stopped reading. Right from the start I thought… "No! This can't be happening". I honestly thought this was going to be the worst book I've EVER read because I didn't know where we stood with Damon. I doubted any author in their right mind would commit novel suicide by placing possibly the worst outcome in their book and seriously… J.L. Mac had be sitting on the edge of my seat for a while there - ready to throw in the towel because I just couldn't accept the outcome that was hinted towards at the beginning. But relief… it was so so sweet! Thank You J.L for not killing me :D You got that right, honey. Instead of The Young and The Restless, we got The Old and The Worthless!”
